Looking for a good book? Ask our fifth graders and they'll likely tell you to check out bookji, a book recommendation tool that provides kids with personalized book recommendations, a variety of ways to share books with classmates, and even an emoji search feature that matches them with a book based on the emotions it has elicited in fellow readers. Our fifth graders had an opportunity to meet with bookji's creator, Will Peters, a current Princeton student who developed the site as part of a final project for a Children's Literature course. Will gave the students a demo, and they provided him with some valuable feedback on potential new features and emojis. All in all it was a good match! We'd like to thank Will for his time and willingness to hear our thoughts on bookji, and we hope you will check it out as well.
