Summer may be upon us, but that doesn't mean you should stop reading. Reading over the summer is not only fun, but can help you hit the ground running when the new school year begins in September. Whether you're moving on to the middle school or returning to OPS, we want to encourage you to read over the summer. Here at OPS, we are encouraging our students to read at least 20 minutes a day. You can find more information on our summer reading expectations and optional reading projects on our OPS 2020 Summer Learning website. In addition, the Oradell Public Library also has a free reading program that students can participate in over the summer. Their Imagine Your Story summer reading program allows students to log their reading minutes online and earn tickets that can be entered into raffles for a variety of prizes. The library will also be running a series of events related to the summer reading program. To find out more email Mrs. Carol Blakeslee.
